Ohio Reproductive Medicine, managed by IVI RMA North America is looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant for their Columbus, OH location. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm with weekend rotations.


POSITION: Certified Medical Assistant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Records patient histories and vital signs
  • Assists in on-site lab doing blood draws
  • Coordinates clinic workflow/schedules for physicians visits, exams and procedures
  • Assists ORM physicians with procedures (clinic and operating room)
  • Prepares charts for upcoming visits by collecting test results and medical records
  • Tracks pregnancies for reporting purposes
  • Prepares/sterilizes instruments for procedures and exams
  • Orders supplies and stocks exam rooms
  • Enters appropriate paperwork and flow sheets into EMR
  • Escorts patients to clinical areas

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • 2 Years of Medical Assistant (MA) experience
  • Strong phlebotomy skills
  • Ability to adhere to all HIPAA protocols
  • Medical Assistant Certificate required
  • Women's health experience preferred (Infertility-field experience a plus)
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient, accurate and professional manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills
