Job description

KingsVeterinary Hospital is a progressive and well-equipped small animalhospital in an affluent demographic area just 20 miles northeast of downtownCincinnati. We have been providing top-quality veterinary care with apersonalized and compassionate feel since 1995. Our team of 10 doctors work ina collaborative effort to provide the best care available in our area whileenjoying a positive work/life balance.   


We are seeking a full-time veterinarian with general practice andurgent care experience, or those that are interested in both. 

You are the ideal candidate if: 

  • You are looking for full time hours with flexible options
  • You have an Urgent Care/GP background with interest in focusing on urgent care
  • You are looking for a fast paced hospital where the days go by quickly
  • You are looking for a collaborative environment working alongside multiple experienced DVMs

What we will offer you: 

  • Generous Compensation ($135,000-$175,000/yr) and up to $25,000 in bonuses! ????
  • Urgent Care Support ratio of 4:1, support staff to doctor! ?
  • A focus on work life balance! 
  • A consistent 3/4 day per week schedule! Every 4th Saturday is preferred. 
  • No Overnight or Holiday commitments!
  • Ability to manage a variety of case types including general practice, urgent and critical care!
  • Best in class dual layer mentorship program for new graduates! 

 ABOUT THE HOSPITAL 

 * Digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray systems.

 * In-house laboratory capabilities including Idexx Catalyst& ProCyte, urinalysis with sediments, FeLV and other ELISA tests, and fullservice external lab work capabilities with clinical and pathologicallaboratories.

 * Esaote Ultrasound for abdominal and echocardiogram

 * Isofluorane/Sevofluorane anesthesia

 * Ultrasonic dental equipment in separate dental suite.

 * Excellent surgical monitoring capabilities including EKG,blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.

 * Complete pharmacy- large inventory of establishedpharmaceuticals

 * Newest version of Cornerstone, we are a ‘paper-lite’clinic.

 * Acupuncture

 * Good working relationship with local rescue groups

 * Laser surgery

 * Electrocautery surgery

 * Therapeutic cold laser

 * Recently completed 4 new exam rooms!
