Job description

States Reporting Analyst
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is hiring an States Reporting Analyst for the 2026 cycle. The States Reporting Analyst will be the primary contributor to DSCC’s work with regard to reporting, tracking projects, and other program-specific data needs for DSCC’s key battleground states. They will provide critical direct support regarding the DSCC’s key battleground states by supporting the creation and rollout of reporting products.
This position reports to the Deputy National Data and Analytics Director.
Responsibilities
  • Produce meaningful and actionable reports and dashboards, and present recommendations to guide strategy.
  • Design and build reports and pipelines for simplified data collection and automated reporting.
  • Provide reporting support across the analytics team, including advice on report design, reporting templates, and core reporting tables.
  • Convert broad stakeholder requirements into concrete, actionable plans for reporting projects.
  • Produce clear documentation outlining reporting products as they are rolled out.
Skills and Qualifications
  • At least one cycle of political experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience working with data visualization tools, such as (but not limited to) Hex, Tableau, Google Data Studio, GIS, R, Python, Excel, Google Sheets
  • 2+ years using SQL professionally
  • Ability to build consensus to work effectively within and across departments.
  • A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed.
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems.
This position is based in DC. This position is expected to work out of the DSCC office located on Capitol Hill.
The annualized salary for this position is $80,000.
This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
