ProSidian Seeks a Remote Sensing And Geospatial Support Analyst (RSGS3) [Key Personnel | Senior Consultant - Exempt 874-1 Consultant 003] located: CONUS:  Washington DC and Salt Lake City, UT to 003. 

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide expertise to plan, coordinate, and execute geospatial data collection, processing and analytical services in support of research and operational applications. Leads the application of remote sensing/geospatial technologies, approaches and methodologies to address natural resource applications including change detection, monitoring, extraction and classification of information from multispectral imagery, radar, LiDAR, etc. Use supervised/unsupervised image classification, data mining and feature extraction technologies, accuracy assessment procedures, and identify and apply novel approaches to geospatial analysis and modeling.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated expert level knowledge and experience in the use of common commercial and open-source image processing and GIS software or cloud platforms including, but not limited to, ERDAS, Google Earth Engine, ENVI, eCognition, Esri software, and Pix4d software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing technical reports, technology transfer and geospatial training materials for technology evaluation and development projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to process, analyze, and model in enterprise geospatial software applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience
