Plumber Apprentice / Helper

Stemmle Plumbing Repair is looking for a motivated Plumber Apprentice / Helper who is ready to learn, work hard, and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced plumbing professionals.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, wants to develop a skilled trade, and is looking for a career with room to grow.

What You'll Do
  • Assist plumbers with plumbing repairs, installations, maintenance, and rough-ins

  • Help install and repair water, sewer, piping, fixtures, valves, and related plumbing systems

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and support piping

  • Assist with excavation, digging, backfilling, and job-site cleanup

  • Transport and organize tools, equipment, and materials

  • Learn proper use of plumbing tools, equipment, and machinery

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Provide professional and courteous service while working at customer locations

  • Follow company procedures and all required safety practices

What We're Looking For
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

  • Ability to work well with experienced technicians and as part of a team

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in crawl spaces or other confined work areas

  • Able to bend, kneel, climb stairs, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding work

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted

  • Commitment to working safely and using required PPE
