Purpose: Responsible for the support and training of all Yardi property functions and other technical programs that interface with Yardi such as screening, utility billing, resident portal, and revenue management. Reviews rent roll data for accuracy and interact with the accounting department on financial issues. Performs audit functions on rent roll and site-related issues.

Responsibilities

What your day may entail, this is not inclusive:

  • Provide daily phone and e-mail support for properties regarding Yardi and other technical programs
  • Coordinate timely weekly and month-end closings and perform reviews of data submitted
  • Perform reconciliation, research, and troubleshoot discrepancies as related to the rent roll and accounts receivable
  • Review pre-close reports, distribute correction notices and ensure completion of corrections by a month-end close deadline
  • Work with accounting personnel to resolve on-site accounting discrepancies
  • Maintain training calendar working with other departments with training needs
  • Schedule, prepare classroom facilities, and conduct training of all technical classes
  • Create or modify training materials for web-based and live training classes
  • Coordinate the implementation and update of Yardi policies and procedures as revised with the communities
  • Lead lease file audits during due diligence; perform rent roll set up and assist in acquisition setups and dispositions
  • Perform property file audits and re-audits as needed
Qualifications

We're looking for you if you have the following qualifications: 

  • On-site experience and previous bookkeeping required
  • Extensive experience with Yardi, on-site accounting processes and controls
  • Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess excellent writing and communications skills, including proper grammar and email etiquette
  • Ability to speak in front of groups of people

  • Able to travel overnight as required, approximately 30%
  • Ability to coordinate activities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with peers on training and support objectives
