JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Account Manager will consist of both sales and account management on a day-to-day basis. The Account Manager will spend a majority of their time interacting with the internal engineering team, as well as with outside stakeholders and customers. This role works closely with outside sales agents to manage contracts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Plan, execute, and manage client accounts and projects.
โ€ข Attend company meetings and presentations with stakeholders.
โ€ข Collaborate with clients to determine product or service requirements.
โ€ข Develop project plans to meet client goals and objectives.
โ€ข Research and understand State and Federal rebate programs and how they will benefit the customer.
โ€ข Build relationships with clients to ensure brand and project success.
โ€ข Create a pleasant experience for clients by coordinating with marketing and customer service to provide solutions.
โ€ข Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address any client concerns in a timely manner.
โ€ข Maintain a consistent line of communication with the internal engineering team and outside agencies.
โ€ข Monitor and manage the scope of the project from inception to handoff.
โ€ข Oversee the development of new client relationships.
โ€ข Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
โ€ข Be comfortable pivoting your time and energy between multiple accounts each day.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
โ€ข Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support role.
โ€ข Minimum of 1 years of experience in business analysis or a related field is a plus.
โ€ข Comfortable working under strict deadlines.
โ€ข Strong interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
โ€ข Excellent technical and communication skills.
โ€ข Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
โ€ข Experience creating detailed reports and delivering presentations.
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
โ€ข Proven track record of following through on commitments.
โ€ข Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
