Clinical Pathologist - Imagyst
Role Description
Zoetis Imagyst Digital Cytopathology is seeking a full-time Clinical Pathologist. This is a remote position based in the US.
Responsibilities of this role will primarily include the interpretation of digital cytology and hematology cases submitted from markets with Imagyst Digital Cytology service (US and international cases). Additional responsibilities may include glass slide review as a component of the quality control workflow. Pathologists are expected to complete a minimum number of cases based on a minimum case target. Target case numbers may be reviewed and updated periodically. They also must be available to complete cases during assigned 'shift times' (not to exceed 40hrs/week). There may also be opportunities for colleagues to participate in other projects depending on interest and business need.
Performance evaluation will include case metrics, success in achieving standards of medical report quality, professionalism, customer and colleague communication, compliance of organizational and departmental policies and procedures, and demonstration of Zoetis Core Beliefs.
Successful candidates will have a passion for supporting the veterinary community, be a team player with positive outlook and have a deep commitment to quality. This is a values-driven organization where service is priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary case coverage for digital cytology and hematology cases submitted on Vetscan Imagyst
• Consult with referring veterinarians on cases and general clinical pathology questions.
• Participate in the quality control program.
• Participate in local/regional customer outreach and education.
• Comply with organizational and department policies and procedures

• Virtual Lab Clinical Pathologists (full-time and contractors)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• ACVP or ECVCP Clinical Pathology board certification or board eligibility
• DVM (or equivalent)
• Formal pathology training - residency or graduate studies (master's or PhD) in clinical pathology-related field
• Minimum of 1 year of digital cytology experience preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Strong diagnostic skills in clinical pathology

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Able to work on a computer, sitting, for extended hours.

• Able to work occasional unusual hours (evenings, weekends, or early mornings)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 - $172,000. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range
for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
