• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and support their mental health recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring strategies to empower clients in their journey toward healing and emotional well-being.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, participating in case consultations to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

As an LCSW in our clinic, you will primarily work with individuals facing a myriad of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your role will not only involve providing therapeutic interventions but also actively working to foster an inclusive and supportive environment that respects each client’s unique experiences and perspectives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• At least two years of clinical experience in the mental health field, with a preference for backgrounds in outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and other evidence-based psychotherapy interventions is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities that enable you to adapt therapeutic approaches to client needs.
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working within a collaborative team environment.

• Experience with trauma-informed care and interventions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, as this role involves outreach and collaboration with local school systems.
