This position is performed remotely, allowing our counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules effectively while maintaining a balance between personal and professional commitments. The outpatient counseling setting facilitates appointments with clients on a scheduled basis, ensuring that you can tailor your approach to individual needs. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations that help identify the unique needs of each client and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various formats, including individual, couple, family, and group sessions.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, ensuring strategies are tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal regulations while actively contributing to case discussions in team meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Whole Hearted Therapeutics, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Your caseload may encompass clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, family dynamics, and other mental health concerns. You will leverage your skills and knowledge to empower clients in their journey towards healing and self-discovery.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical counseling services is required.
• A strong foundation in ethical guidelines and an understanding of legal regulations governing counseling practice.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems is expected to support effective client management and documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience or specialization in treatment areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated capacity for teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance client outcomes.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning and adapting therapeutic strategies based on the latest trends in mental health.

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
