• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health statuses, identifying strengths, challenges, and support needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to create and coordinate a comprehensive care plan for patients in detox.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication adherence.
• Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities to promote emotional healing and stability.
• Develop and periodically review treatment plans that align with the goals and preferences of patients, incorporating input from multidisciplinary team members.
• Advocate for patients navigating the complex mental health and addiction recovery systems, supporting their autonomy and rights.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to help prepare patients for a successful transition post-detox.

This role primarily focuses on clients undergoing detoxification, who often face various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Licensed Clinical Social Workers are expected to employ trauma-informed care principles, ensuring that all interactions prioritize the dignity and choices of patients while supporting their journey towards recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Ability and experience in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to elevate patient care.
