Position: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC or equivalent)
Location: Hybrid (Remote & In-Person) Laredo Texas

Leveraging telepsychiatry and in-person visits, we focus on accessibility, personalized care, and prompt delivery of services to children, adolescents, and adults.

As we expand our practice, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in delivering exceptional care. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-person visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care

    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for patients across all age groups.
    • Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans.
    • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with careful monitoring and follow-up care.
  • Hybrid Delivery

    • Provide telepsychiatry services through secure virtual platforms for remote patients.
    • Conduct in-person visits at designated office locations when required.
  • Collaboration

    • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff.
    • Refer patients to therapy or other services as needed while maintaining a focus on medication management.
  • Documentation and Compliance

    • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the practice’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Certification

    • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC).
    • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in [state(s) of operation].
    • DEA certification with prescriptive authority.
  • Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatric practice preferred
    • Experience with telepsychiatry platforms is a plus.
  • Skills

    • Strong diagnostic, treatment planning, and medication management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English – able to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population, enhancing accessibility and service quality
