NOW HIRING — JOIN THE JENSEN DESIGN TEAM

CUSTOM METAL FABRICATOR / WELDER

Jensen Design is a family-owned Wichita business that has been designing and fabricating custom, quality ironwork since 1984. We create one-of-a-kind railings, furniture, lighting, architectural pieces, décor, and custom metalwork for residential and commercial projects.

We’re looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated person to join our team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Fabricate and weld custom metal and wrought-iron pieces
  • Read and work from drawings, measurements, and specifications
  • Grind, finish, and prepare metal for installation
  • Build unique projects from start to finish
  • Work with a team of experienced craftsmen
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Take pride in producing high-quality work

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Welding and metal fabrication experience preferred but not required. If you are willing to learn we are willing to teach
  • Ability to read a tape measure and basic drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable work ethic and good attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to build things that last

Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, grinding, forming, or ornamental ironwork is a plus.
