Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual counseling sessions via secure video chats to clients seeking support for various emotional and mental health issues.
• Assist clients in expressing their feelings and discussing personal experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space.
• Conduct thorough assessments through interviews and discussions to identify clients' needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor, you will primarily serve stable, low-acuity clients who are in search of preventative measures and supportive strategies to enhance their mental well-being. These clients are carefully screened to ensure they are suitable for remote counseling, allowing you to provide targeted and effective therapies.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• An active, independent state license, such as LMFT, LCSW, or LPC, is essential for this role.
• You must have the ability to make informed evaluations and decisions that shape treatment planning and execution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate and empathetic nature are crucial for effectively connecting with clients.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, determined by your experience and hours worked.
