Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for patients entering the detox program to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize solution-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring their mental and emotional health needs are effectively addressed.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring all records are compliant with regulatory standards and accurately reflect the patient’s progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to deliver cohesive and coordinated patient care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the quality of treatment provided to our patients.
• Educate and empower patients and their families about mental health issues, fostering a supportive environment conducive to recovery.
• Remain updated on the latest research and developments in mental health interventions to continuously improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The patient population is diverse, with varying backgrounds and circumstances, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in treatment approaches. Your role will be critical in supporting clients through their detoxification process and guiding them towards long-term recovery pathways.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• At least three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a strong emphasis on psychotherapy.
• Expertise in solution-based therapeutic methodologies and a passion for supporting patients during challenging times.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills, enabling effective collaboration and interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within detox or substance abuse treatment facilities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect patients with additional support services.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
