Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to gain a deep understanding of clients' mental health needs and conditions.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique circumstances and goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to adult clients utilizing evidence-based and solution-focused therapeutic approaches.
• Deliver sessions via teletherapy, ensuring that clients receive uninterrupted support through virtual means.
• Respond to crisis situations promptly, offering necessary intervention strategies to maintain clients’ safety and well-being.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, regularly updating skills and knowledge to align with the latest best practices and guidelines in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult clients facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique stories and needs; therefore, cultural competency and empathy will be central to your practice. Your adaptable approach will be essential in developing meaningful relationships that foster healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients swiftly and effectively.
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude while conducting therapy.
• Robust organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple clients and responsibilities concurrently.
• No history of disciplinary actions on board; ethical practice is paramount.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling, which will enhance your ability to connect with clients efficiently in a virtual setting.
