Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history, mental health status, and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both addiction recovery strategies and interventions for underlying mental health conditions.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other therapeutic practices tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure holistic and integrated care for our clients.
• Educate and engage clients' families, promoting understanding and support that enhances recovery efforts.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that aligns with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with preference for candidates holding a master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related disciplines.

• Sound knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with proficiency in establishing rapport and motivating clients in their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in the substance abuse treatment arena.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital therapy methodologies, enhancing accessibility for clients.
• Experience in developing and implementing group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.
