This position offers a remote working arrangement, providing flexibility while maintaining a clear commitment to team collaboration and client support. Although the majority of work occurs online, our outpatient office model ensures that you have access to essential resources and team interactions necessary for professional development. Our work schedule generally runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to accommodate client needs.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs and design personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic plans tailored to individual client objectives, continually adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Deliver counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, sharing insights and strategies for comprehensive care and client success.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and continuous professional education to enhance skills and service delivery.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of New York.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, specifically within mental health settings.
• Proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to a wide range of mental health related conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing for effective engagement and relationship-building with clients.
• Commitment to ethical practices and the preservation of client confidentiality as per industry standards.

Although not required, candidates with experience treating addiction issues or trauma-focused therapy will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies will also be helpful in ensuring a smooth transition into our remote work setting.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
