As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions through video conferencing platforms.
• Employing solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that consider the diverse needs and goals of your clients.
• Facilitating client self-examination to help them understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, fostering personal growth.
• Monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and helping clients develop healthy coping strategies to support their ongoing mental well-being.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid state license in good standing with no disciplinary actions, such as:

• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Additionally, you must be able to practice independently without supervision and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills along with a sympathetic and empathetic nature.

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in remote counseling and a solid understanding of telehealth technologies. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and online therapy platforms will give you an advantage as you will leverage these tools to streamline your practice.
