• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status, forming the foundation for developing targeted treatment plans.
• Create individualized treatment strategies that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health concerns, ensuring a comprehensive approach to recovery.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), tailored to meet the diverse needs of our client population.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, and case managers to ensure an integrated approach to client care, facilitating ongoing communication and support.
• Offer educational resources and supportive counseling to clients’ families, empowering them to understand the recovery process and actively participate in their loved ones' healing journeys.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity of client information.

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or possess a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
• Demonstrated training or experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment is essential.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and motivate clients through challenging times in their recovery journey.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills that foster effective teamwork and collaboration within a remote working environment.

• Experience working in a community health setting or treatment facility that specializes in substance abuse is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy modalities is advantageous.
