About the job Travel Heavy Duty Tire Technician Summary Only candidates with their own tire and wheel equipment for roadside or on-location services will be considered. Prior experience is required. The Heavy Duty Tire Technician is responsible for performing inspection, repair, and replacement of tires on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial fleets. This role requires ensuring that tires are properly balanced, mounted, and inflated while maintaining a high standard of safety and service.

The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential tire services to commercial vehicles and ensuring optimal performance for clients. Candidates must have a modern smartphone with an active internet connection to efficiently manage orders and assignments through the company app. Proficiency in navigating mobile applications, digital platforms, and app-based workflows is essential for seamless task execution and communication. Compensation ranges from $37,440 to $66,560 per year, based on experience and availability.

Job Specifics Perform thorough inspections of tires on heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, and commercial fleets. Repair and replace tires, ensuring accurate balancing and mounting of large tires. Patch leaks, repair punctures, and verify tire inflation levels. Follow established safety standards and guidelines while working with heavy-duty equipment and tools.
