Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Coordinate and implement evidence-based behavioral health services, ensuring adherence to best practices and policies.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary care team, actively communicating with primary care providers and other health professionals.
  • Evaluate and facilitate swift intake assessments for new patients in a respectful and efficient manner.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, utilizing crisis intervention techniques when necessary to address immediate client needs.
  • Refer clients suffering from serious mental health conditions to appropriate inpatient or specialty care facilities as appropriate.
  • Screen clients for substance use disorders, providing counseling and referrals to necessary treatment resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and confidentiality policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a culturally diverse patient population, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds. Many clients may present with common mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions, as well as substance use challenges. Your ability to understand and empathize with their unique perspectives is essential in guiding them toward effective treatment and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in delivering behavioral health therapies.
  • Demonstrated ability in crisis intervention and mature judgment in complex situations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly when working with diverse populations, healthcare providers, and administrative staff.
  • A driven team player capable of thriving in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer literacy is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
