Position Overview

Clearly Heard Counseling Services, LLC is actively seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This remote position offers individuals the opportunity to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of their own homes while reaching clients in need across various communities. The ideal candidate will be a licensed provider (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with a strong commitment to enhancing the mental well-being of our clients and supporting a culture of inclusive and effective care.

About the Organization

Clearly Heard Counseling Services, LLC is a pioneering organization dedicated to improving mental health access and care. Our mission is to dismantle stigma surrounding mental health, close gaps in services, and transform the overall mental health culture. We pride ourselves on innovative approaches that prioritize individualized treatment and engagement with both clients and community providers. By striving for excellence in care and comprehensive support, we aim to create lasting impacts in the lives of those we serve.

Work Environment

This role operates within a fully remote setting, offering the flexibility and work-life balance necessary for mental health professionals. As a member of our community health clinic, you will be part of a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, shared goals, and a commitment to quality care. Regular communication with fellow team members, as well as the Utilization Review and Business Departments, ensures continuity in service delivery and expedited patient support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accessible support to clients’ family members and loved ones, returning calls and emails promptly—within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours during off-hours.
  • Communicate effectively with the Utilization Review and Business Department regarding patient authorizations and payment processes, maintaining a smooth flow of information for treatment continuity.
  • Plan discharges beginning from the day of admission and conduct necessary discharge sessions to ensure clients comprehend their transition plan, coping strategies, and resource referrals.
  • Manage crises both in therapy sessions and within the treatment milieu, lending support to milieu staff and collaborating with the treatment team to maintain high clinical standards.
  • Timely completion of clinical documentation is imperative; ensure all records are updated contemporaneously during each patient interaction.
  • Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, assessing risk and safety concerning suicidal ideation or potential harm.
  • Facilitate admission assessments professionally, guiding new patients through the intake process while promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to co-develop and communicate treatment goals with colleagues, supporting a shared commitment to holistic patient care.
  • Conduct utilization reviews to secure necessary clinical authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring all vital information is documented and communicated effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Clearly Heard Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your therapeutic interventions will be vital in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges and facilitating their personal growth. You will actively contribute to fostering a supportive and understanding environment that promotes healing and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
  • An active and independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of Oregon or the state in which you reside.
  • A proven passion for making a positive impact in the field of behavioral care.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and proficient electronic communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a robust caseload while interfacing smoothly with various providers and support staff.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a community health setting or outpatient services.
  • Demonstrated success in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with insurance processes and utilization review.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:

  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Employee assistance programs for mental health support and wellness.
  • A minimal paperwork requirement, allowing for more time focused on patient care.
  • A full caseload designed to ensure a busy and fulfilling work schedule.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage.
