Job description

Program Manager- Data Center Supply Chain
Location: Erie, PA or Remote
Department: Supply Chain / Procurement

About Us
Logistics Plus is expanding our strategic sourcing and electrical procurement capabilities to support a growing portfolio of complex construction and technology driven projects. We are seeking experienced Program Manager- Data Center Supply Chain who have deep expertise from the Electrical Contractor (EC) world.
If you have real world EC experience managing competitive bids, evaluating subcontractor proposals, and owning commercial strategy, we want to meet you.
This is a high impact role that will directly influence the cost competitiveness and execution success of our programs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Program Manager- Data Center Supply Chain, you will serve as a subject matter expert in electrical cost management, supporting our sourcing, construction, and program teams. Your responsibilities will include:
RFP & Bid Management
  • Lead and administer end to end RFP cycles for electrical scopes
  • Perform bid leveling to compare vendors, clarify gaps, and align scope
  • Support negotiations with data driven cost models and analysis

Commercial & Supplier Strategy
  • Develop strategy decks summarizing vendor recommendations and sourcing direction
  • Draft and collaborate on commercial agreements, terms, and pricing frameworks
  • Manage capacity reservations with suppliers for high demand or long lead materials
  • Oversee biannual and annual price updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment

Material Strategy & Bill of Materials (BOM) Ownership
  • Understand, maintain, and improve canonical / standard BOMs for electrical products
  • Partner with procurement to secure materials aligned with project timelines
  • Aggregate and review material quantities for multiple job sites
  • Identify inaccuracies, quantity deviations, and procurement risks

Cross Functional Leadership
  • Work closely with preconstruction, engineering, sourcing, and construction teams
  • Serve as the "EC perspective" expert inside the organization
  • Assist in vendor onboarding, qualification, and cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications
Required
  • Electrical background, preferably hands on experience from an Electrical Contractor (EC)
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in electrical cost estimation, preconstruction, procurement, or commercial strategy
  • Strong proficiency with:
    • RFP management
    • Bid leveling
    • Contract/commercial document drafting
    • BOM interpretation and material planning
    • Supplier capacity and pricing management
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, high volume bidding environment
  • Subject matter expertise / knowledge of electrical, CSA, mechanical scopes including the following: switchgear / BDC, VESDA / fire alarm systems, MV terminations, lighting inverters, UPS, 48'' PVF pipe valve fittings, CRAH, CRAC, EHU, RTU, FCU, AHU, racks / panels, bus plugs, instrumentation, fiberglass conduit, rebar, precast panels, roofing, lighting, etc.
    • Ability to create / run / manage the RFX process (RFI, RFP, bid leveling, etc.) for aforementioned products
    • Ability to read specifications / drawings and provide technical expertise for aforementioned products

Preferred
  • Experience supporting data centers, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial construction
  • Familiarity with vendor qualification processes and multi site material tracking
  • Advanced Excel skills or estimating software experience
