Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The position also requires occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and the potential for on-call availability to address urgent mental health needs effectively. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying their unique needs and developing actionable, individualized treatment plans.

  • Collaborate closely with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies, utilizing sound judgment to maintain student safety and emotional stability.
  • Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to foster a supportive home and school environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, upholding the integrity of student records and treatment progress.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss challenges, brainstorm solutions, and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines that pertain to mental health practice, ensuring compliance and best practices.

This position works primarily with students who require specialized mental health services due to a range of psychological challenges.
