This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying their unique needs and developing actionable, individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that focus on ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma, adapting strategies to the specific requirements of each student.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at facilitating emotional regulation, personal growth, and coping strategies, particularly in high-stress scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care.
• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies, utilizing sound judgment to maintain student safety and emotional stability.
• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to foster a supportive home and school environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, upholding the integrity of student records and treatment progress.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss challenges, brainstorm solutions, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines that pertain to mental health practice, ensuring compliance and best practices.

This position works primarily with students who require specialized mental health services due to a range of psychological challenges. You will be instrumental in supporting students with diverse special needs, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioral disorders. Your expertise will not only help these students navigate their difficulties but also empower them to achieve their potential in an educational setting.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, providing psychological services in a clinical, educational, or therapeutic setting.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy through evidence-based practices tailored specifically for adolescent populations.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to respond calmly in high-stress and emergency situations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a strong commitment to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Experience working with students in a school-based setting, especially within a special education context.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and integrated care approaches is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of local educational resources and community services that support mental health.
