A Remote Weekend Dispatcher is a professional who coordinates and manages service calls, deliveries, or operations for a company during the weekends, working remotely from a location outside the main office. Their responsibilities typically include receiving and dispatching service requests, communicating with field personnel, updating job statuses, and ensuring timely responses to customer needs. They use dispatch software and communication tools to stay connected with teams and clients. Job description

Genesis Dispatcher is launching a fast-growing dispatching company focused on helping small trucking companies and owner-operators win. We’re looking for a highly experienced trucking dispatcher who not only knows how to run loads — but also how to build operational systems, processes, and train new team members. This is NOT just a dispatcher seat. We need a logistics architect who can create structure from scratch and optimize performance.

???? What You’ll Do:
  • Build and document SOPs for dispatching, carrier onboarding, load sourcing, paperwork processing, etc.
  • Set up tools, CRM, and workflow automation (with help from our team)
  • Find and book loads for our initial clients using DAT, TruckStop, or similar load boards
  • Train and supervise new dispatchers/VAs as we scale
  • Handle broker communications, detention, lumper, and rate negotiation
  • Evaluate and streamline billing, invoicing, and Quick Pay assistance
  • Monitor broker credit and compliance systems
  • Help develop carrier relationships and support retention

You’re a Fit If You Have:
  • 2+ years experience dispatching trucks (any of: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Box Truck, or Hotshot)
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. freight lanes, load boards, and rate negotiation
  • Experience creating SOPs and training junior staff
  • Familiarity with broker systems, factoring, and invoicing
  • Organized, resourceful, and proactive problem-solver
  • Strong English communication (Spanish is a bonus)
  • You’ve helped build or scale a dispatching operation (ideal)

???? Bonus Points for:
  • Knowledge of tools like DAT, TruckStop, TMS systems, and CRM platforms
  • Experience working remotely with VAs or offshore teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you want to help shape the company

✨ What We Offer:
  • Flexible hours & remote work
  • Opportunity to grow into Ops Manager or COO-type role
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Ability to build something from the ground up
  • Faith-aligned, integrity-driven leadership
