• Conduct thorough initial assessments and screenings to understand clients' history with substance abuse and mental health challenges, allowing for tailored treatment approaches.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that address addiction issues alongside any underlying mental health conditions.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to foster client engagement and self-efficacy.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to deliver integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a client's well-being are comprehensively addressed.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, equipping them with tools to be involved in the recovery process while fostering a supportive home environment.
• Accurately maintain client records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring all data is secure and confidential.

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol dependency, opioid addiction, and stimulant abuse. Many clients also present with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will play an essential role in not only addressing the immediate concerns surrounding addiction but also in supporting the overall mental health and well-being of your clients.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s or doctoral degrees are highly preferred.

• Demonstrated training or experience in addiction counseling specifically, with familiarity in evidence-based practices for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Proven ability to motivate clients through strong therapeutic and counseling skills, showcasing effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is competitive, from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on your level of experience and professional credentials.
