About the Role

We're looking for an AEM Developer II to join our growing technology team and help build, enhance, and maintain the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform that powers our web experience.

In this role, you'll develop scalable AEM components, troubleshoot complex technical issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure our digital platforms remain secure, reliable, and high-performing. What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain reusable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components following Adobe best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Partner with system administration teams to support deployments, upgrades, and platform optimization.
  • Provide recommendations on AEM best practices and contribute to the platform's long-term technical direction.
  • Serve as a primary resource for AEM-related issues experienced by content authors and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Support integrations with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
  • Ensure applications meet security, accessibility, SEO, performance, and user experience standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for AEM components, development processes, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with developers, managers, and stakeholders through code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate project updates within project management software, including progress tracking and task completion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a collaborative developer with strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality web applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience developing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components.
  • Two (2) or more years of professional experience working with HTML Template Language (HTL), responsive HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience working with:
    • Java
    • Java Content Repository (JCR)
    • Apache Sling
    • OSGi Bundles
    • JavaScript and ReactJS
  • Experience using GitHub or similar version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of web security, accessibility standards, SEO, analytics, and user experience best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Experience Manager Developer Certification or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Schedule

Work Days

Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be required based on business needs.

Work Hours

Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST. Additional hours and occasional local travel may be required based on project demands.
