Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate counseling sessions via video conferencing, ensuring clients feel heard and supported.
• Implementing solution-focused treatment modalities to guide individuals through effective therapeutic processes.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with clients' unique experiences and goals.
• Assisting clients in exploring emotions, gaining insights into their relationships, and fostering personal development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low acuity adults who face a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license to work independently (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW, PsyD). Please note that we do not accept limited or provisional licenses, nor candidates with disciplinary actions on their records.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuinely empathetic nature.
• Strong computer literacy, with access to a reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities for virtual sessions.
• A dependable internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted client engagement.

Preferred Experience

While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, exceptional candidates with less experience but a passionate commitment to mental health care are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
