Job Summary:

 Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in health plans and direct experience supporting CMS mandates, including CMS 9115-F and CMS 0057. In this remote role, the IT Project Manager will lead regulatory-driven initiatives focused on data sharing, patient access, and interoperability. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure timely, compliant delivery of projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT projects supporting CMS 9115-F and CMS 0057 regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and external vendors
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables
  • Ensure health plan compliance with CMS mandates, interoperability standards, and data-sharing regulations
  • Track project milestones and provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership
  • Support API- and FHIR-based data exchange and interoperability initiatives
  • Oversee testing, implementation, rollout, and post-go-live support activities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management
  • Experience working within a health plan or healthcare payer environment
  • Hands-on experience leading projects related to CMS 9115-F and/or CMS 0057
  • Strong understanding of CMS data access and interoperability requirements, including FHIR-based APIs and secure data-sharing methods
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
