About the role

The Software Developer Co-Op writes front-end and back-end code that drives ITRG products. In this role, the student will gain hands-on experience working within a product development team, contributing to production code, and learning from Senior Developers to strengthen their technical and professional skills.

Key Tasks

  • Completes development coding and testing using Ruby on Rails.
  • Participates in sprint and feature planning sessions; analyzes product vendor requirements and helps design technical solutions.
  • Participates in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.

Education and Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a College Diploma or University Degree program with an active co-op component
  • Some programming experience through academic, personal, or hobby projects

  • Software Development: Ability to program in at least one language (experience with Ruby on Rails is not required).
