Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Web Developer to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesProvides enterprise application development and support within a secure Federal Government/DoD environment. The role requires expertise in Java/J2EE development, web technologies, Oracle WebLogic administration, database integration, middleware management, secure coding practices, and Section 508-compliant application development. Responsibilities include the full application lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, troubleshooting, security testing, vulnerability remediation, system integration, cloud migration support, and technical documentation in accordance with DoD and Federal Government standards.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)Expertise in Java/J2EE development, enterprise web applications, and software architecture.Experience with Oracle WebLogic administration, middleware management, and application deployment.Knowledge of database integration, SQL/PLSQL, and enterprise data access methods.Experience implementing secure software development practices, application security testing, and vulnerability remediation.Knowledge of DoD/Federal Government software standards, security requirements, and Section 508 compliance.Ability to design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.Ability to integrate applications with databases, middleware platforms, and messaging systems.Ability to support the full software development lifecycle from design through production maintenance.Ability to resolve complex application, middleware, database, and infrastructure issues.Ability to support cloud migration, modernization efforts, and enterprise application initiatives.Ability to collaborate with development, operations, security, and mission stakeholders in a Federal Government environment.Desired KSABe a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situationsCandidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customerMust have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervisionMinimum Training, Education, and CertificationsFive (5) years of relevant IT experienceIAT-II requires one of the following current certifications: CND, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCPRelevant Developer certificationMinimum ClearanceSecretPhysical RequirementsRequired to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
