Technical Lead

Location: Remote (Must work Eastern US Time Zone)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tech Lead to lead, coach, support, and grow a diverse team of software engineers for our client. As a hands-on leader, you will guide the technical direction of projects, foster team collaboration, and champion engineering excellence across the stack.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented web engineers, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide architectural guidance and code design feedback in at least one of our core languages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to plan and deliver high-impact features.
  • Ensure technical quality through thoughtful code reviews, testing best practices, and automation.
  • Contribute to hiring and onboarding efforts to build a high-performing, inclusive engineering team.
  • Balance hands-on coding with team leadership and project oversight.

Tech Stack

Primarily work with:

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript
  • Backend: Node.js, PHP, Java, Python, Ruby

(Experience with one or more of these is expected; willingness to learn is essential.)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with a strong foundation in web development.
