Duties and responsibilities
  • Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities while balancing new feature delivery with production support needs
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog by assessing value, cost-benefit, risk, and return on investment to ensure alignment with product strategy
  • Serve as the primary Product Owner escalation point for production support, reviewing and triaging tickets related to product functionality, data issues, and system behavior
  • Perform data analysis and database querying (e.g., SQL) to investigate defects, validate reported issues, and support root-cause analysis
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Operations to distinguish between data issues, configuration gaps, defects, and enhancement requests
  • Translate support and analysis findings into actionable backlog items with clear acceptance criteria and data validation requirements
  • Lead Agile delivery by managing backlog refinement, iteration planning, user story elaboration, and release planning
  • Provide clear vision and direction to Agile teams and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Ensure teams have a continuous pipeline of well-defined, prioritized work and actively remove impediments to meeting sprint and release goals
  • Identify recurring support trends and partner with stakeholders to drive long-term product, processes, and data quality improvements
  • Research problems drive them to resolution, and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future delivery
  • Communicate progress, issue impact, priorities, risks, dependencies, and next steps to Sponsors, Business Owners, and Executive Management

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related field

Experience/Training
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise software applications
  • Hands-on experience supporting production systems, including reviewing, and triaging support tickets and collaborating with technical teams on issue resolution
  • Strong experience with database querying (SQL) to analyze data, validate issues, and support root-cause analysis
  • Experience creating data mapping, data validation, and reconciliation requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with loan servicing and/or mortgage systems
  • Experience supporting financial services platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with post-release support, defect management, and operational stabilization
  • Proven history of delivering technology solutions in geographically distributed team environments
  • Experience managing complex software development initiatives with high visibility and aggressive timelines
  • Ability to balance new feature delivery with ongoing production support responsibilities

Professional Certification/License
  • Cloud and Agile related certifications are a plus

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with at least 4 years of experience analyzing complex data and driving solutions
  • Proficiency in SQL (writing and executing queries) and strong understanding of relational databases; experience with data validation and root-cause analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations
  • Strong experience using JIRA and Confluence in an Agile environment, with in-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
  • Working knowledge of QA and data tools such as Postgres, Postman, Data Studio, and Selenium; familiarity with AWS architecture and web applications is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document requirements clearly and present effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound judgment, take ownership of issues, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with end users, business leaders, executives, and technology support teams
  • Knowledge of reverse mortgage servicing and financial services environments is a plus

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $101,836-$127,296. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
