To thrive as a Remote Visual Interpreter, you need strong communication abilities, excellent visual description skills, and often a background in linguistics or interpretation. They must communicate clearly and adapt their descriptions based on the client's individual needs. Collaboration with technical support teams and other interpreters is common to address technical issues and share best practices. Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality, while being responsive and empathetic, is essential for building trust and delivering high-quality service.
