Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Programmer to join our team. The Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting software applications and systems that meet business and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong programming fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable, maintainable software solutions.ย  Assist users with software and hardware needs as needed.ย 

Key Responsibilities

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and programs.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Modify and enhance existing applications to support changing business needs.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Troubleshoot software issues and identify and resolve programming errors.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Pick up Help Desk tickets and assist users with issues.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Perform application testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Work with users, business stakeholders, & other technical personnel to understand requirements and resolve issues.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain appropriate technical documentation for applications, programs, interfaces, and processes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong knowledge of at least one modern programming language.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience with relational databases and SQL.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Understanding of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
