As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary task will be to offer assessment and treatment services tailored to stable, low acuity adults. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for clients.
• Employing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to guide clients through their mental health challenges.
• Creating individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and personal goals.
• Facilitating meaningful conversations that help clients gain insights into their feelings, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
• Regularly monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans to enhance coping mechanisms and therapeutic outcomes.

Your work will primarily focus on assisting low acuity adults facing various mental health issues. This may include anxiety, depression, stress management, and other similar concerns where clients are stable but seeking guidance to improve their mental well-being. Our goal is to empower clients with the skills necessary to enhance their quality of life and achieve their personal mental health objectives.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A currently active state-issued mental health counseling license to practice independently—available licenses include but are not limited to:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist (PsyD)
• Proven interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in technology for remote counseling sessions.
• Access to a reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities and a dependable internet connection.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a remote counseling environment will have a competitive edge. Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and effective use of technology for client management can enhance your potential for success in this role. Additionally, a history of working with diverse client populations is highly valued.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with your experience and working hours. We also provide a sign-on bonus, ensuring you are rewarded for joining our dedicated team. Full-time counselors may also receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their personal health needs.
