Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions with a compassionate and ethical approach, utilizing video technology to deliver services effectively.
• Employ solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, promoting their mental health and well-being.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, monitoring client progress to ensure that interventions are effective.
• Facilitate insightful discussions to help clients explore their experiences, emotions, and relationships, fostering deeper self-awareness.
• Guide clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and strategies that empower them to navigate their mental health challenges.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to continuously improve treatment strategies and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health therapist at Mental Oasis, you will primarily serve stable, low-acuity adults presenting with a variety of mental health needs. Our client base values the supportive and understanding environment we create, which fosters their journey toward improved mental health. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Your professional credentials must include one of the following licenses permitting independent practice: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No provisional or limited licenses will be accepted, and candidates should have no history of disciplinary actions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor and the ability to connect with clients on an emotional level.
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with remote counseling tools and systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using solution-focused therapy techniques and models.
• Prior work in a remote setting or telehealth experience is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
