You will be equipped with the necessary tools and technology to conduct sessions effectively, including video conferencing software, document management systems, and electronic health record platforms. • Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, offering personalized support to clients as they navigate their mental health challenges.
• Encourage open discussion of emotions and experiences, fostering self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.
• Advocate for clients' needs by assisting them in identifying their goals and developing actionable steps to achieve them.
• Evaluate clients' mental well-being by conducting comprehensive assessments, tailoring treatment plans, and implementing solution-focused methodologies based on your clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and keep records updated in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies.

In this role, you will primarily work with stable adults who present low acuity mental health concerns. All clients have undergone pre-screening to ensure a suitable match. This allows you to focus on helping clients with manageable issues rather than severe mental health crises, enabling a more fulfilling and effective therapeutic relationship. Additionally, you will be matched with clients who align with your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a compatible therapeutic fit.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted professional license to practice therapy in your state (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C).
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with the ability to devise effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, including video conferencing tools and electronic documentation.

While we require a solid foundation in mental health counseling, candidates with experience in teletherapy and familiarity with diverse therapeutic techniques will be especially valued. Experience working with adult populations and knowledge of various mental health issues are highly desirable.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, depending on your experience and hours worked. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors, enabling you to maintain your well-being while caring for others.
