As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting secure, one-on-one therapy sessions through video chat to provide personalized mental health care.
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to support clients during their healing journeys.
• Tailoring treatment plans according to each client’s unique mental health needs and personal goals.
• Helping clients increase self-awareness and develop effective coping mechanisms to navigate life challenges.
• Monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and client satisfaction.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, each facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. This role provides you with the opportunity to implement creative strategies to engage clients in their healing processes effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Active licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona with no restrictions.
• The ability to work autonomously while managing time and client appointments efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, with proven expertise in various therapeutic modalities.
• Comfort and proficiency with telehealth platforms and tools that facilitate online therapy.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience as a mental health counselor is required, those with additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care or culturally responsive therapy will be prioritized. Experience with assessment and diagnostic tools is advantageous, as is familiarity with managing electronic health records.
