Job description

We're a small creative team of video game developers who are focused on creating kind, collaborative, and imaginative games. We formed in late 2019, with the desire to assemble the best and brightest in the industry to work on carefully selected projects that we deem innovative and challenging.
We are looking for passionate and motivated game designers for paid, six-month temporary positions to help design and implement content updates in our live games.
As a Technical Design Intern, you will work directly with the Game Director and Content Director to develop and implement new content such as quests, rewards, activities, and more. Many tasks require technical capabilities such as working directly with Unity systems and writing C# scripts for functionality.
This job is based in Boulder, CO. Remote options are available in qualified situations.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to use existing pipelines, processes and tools to create game ready assets. This will include:
  • Plan and implement quests from start to finish, taking written content and turning it into tasks and cutscenes in Unity using in-house tools
  • Create and modify existing scenes and interactable objects to facilitate new content
  • Design and implement new activities such as obstacles, puzzles, or even full mini-games
  • Help review existing content and update it for better usability
Qualifications
  • Skills in narrative development, scenario design, level design, and camera placement
  • Familiarity with implementing content in Unity (ex. scene, prefab, and ScriptableObject editing)
Pluses
  • Experience with scripting in C#
