Our team regularly engages through digital platforms, ensuring you are supported even while working from home. At Valor Therapy Center, we value work-life balance and offer a structured, Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to encourage harmony between your professional and personal life.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and nature of mood disorder symptoms, helping to inform treatment strategies.
• Work collaboratively with clients to design tailored treatment plans that reflect their goals, personal histories, and unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to ensure maximum efficacy.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, the available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to foster resilience and recovery.
• Continuously monitor client progress, revising treatment plans as necessary and documenting all changes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.
• Engage in professional development and team consultations, sharing insights and strategies to advance team efficacy and client care standards.
• Actively advocate for clients by addressing stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring their needs are met within the community.

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as vulnerable groups including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. By concentrating on these populations, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact on their mental health journey, guiding them through their challenges towards recovery and empowerment.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
