• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, ensuring the development of personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families utilizing a variety of methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
• Coordinate care with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to promote a holistic approach to mental health treatment, enhancing client care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, employing both your clinical skills and compassion to de-escalate situations.
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness regarding mental health issues, break down stigma, and provide educational resources to the community.

At Valor Center, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role is crucial in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel heard and understood, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes.

• Active and independent licensure as one of the following: LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Proven ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural competence to engage effectively with individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring sensitive and responsive care.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and manage your time effectively.

• Experience working within community mental health settings, providing therapy to individuals struggling with a range of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices to effectively engage with clients in a remote setting.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness.
