Valor Center for Mental and Behavioral Services is actively seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to manage your caseload flexibly from the comfort of your own home. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients, applying clinical knowledge to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique mental health needs.
• Provide both individual and group therapy utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suitable for diverse populations.
• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care that addresses clients’ broader needs.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support clients in acute distress, ensuring a compassionate and skilled approach to managing emergencies.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to foster mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and promote the importance of seeking help.

Your work will involve supporting a broad spectrum of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. The Valor Center is particularly focused on serving individuals from underserved and diverse backgrounds, providing culturally sensitive care that recognizes their unique experiences and challenges.

• Possession of an active, independent license to practice mental health counseling as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication skills, enabling you to effectively establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Exhibited cultural competence and sensitivity in your practice, supporting a diverse range of clients.
• Strong organizational skills, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses to all client needs.

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings, crisis intervention, or community mental health will be considered a valuable asset. Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies and technology-enhanced therapy practices is also encouraged, as we strive to utilize innovative tools that improve client engagement and outcomes.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
