Scriptmed Rehab and Counseling Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs, addressing both pre-crisis and crisis situations.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation that adheres to regulatory standards, including the completion of behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as required, engaging with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective positive behavior support plans that promote patient recovery and mental wellness.
• Actively engage in all licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring clinic adherence to high standards of practice.
• Serve as a key liaison to state agencies, service systems, and community partners to enhance resource availability and support for clients.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to promote the clinic’s mission and meet contract standards.
• Foster relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to secure partnerships and funding opportunities that enhance service delivery.
• Engage in professional development activities, such as attending conferences, participating in statewide meetings, and representing the agency in community forums.
• Promote and embody the agency's mission, values, philosophy, and principles in all interactions.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse group of clients, including those facing emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those in need of crisis intervention. It is vital to approach each individual with empathy, respect, and a focus on their unique needs to drive positive outcomes and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license issued by the state board.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team setting and communicate effectively.
• Strong judgment skills to make independent decisions grounded in professional knowledge and ethics.

• Experience in community mental health settings, particularly in outpatient environments.
• Familiarity with working with diverse populations and understanding their unique needs.
• Prior experience with crisis intervention strategies and behavioral support planning.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development in mental health practices.

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual earnings between $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
