Selfcare Space Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to understand clients' needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and ongoing therapeutic support, ensuring client safety and well-being during challenging times.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating with other mental health professionals and social workers to develop holistic care strategies.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, fostering a supportive community among participants and enhancing their coping skills.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision with a licensed supervisor to discuss challenging cases and foster professional development.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and client progress according to clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to case conferences and treatment planning discussions, providing insights and recommendations for optimal client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with teenagers and adolescents facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Through compassionate engagement and targeted therapeutic interventions, you will support clients in navigating their unique circumstances, ultimately helping them achieve mental wellness and improved life skills.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is required.
