• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ counseling needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and calibration of treatment strategies.
• Utilize the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to evaluate clients for substance abuse diagnoses, determining appropriate levels of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client circumstances, particularly focusing on the substance abuse components.
• Create and manage discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions for clients moving between levels of care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of counseling sessions, treatment plans, assessments, referrals, and follow-ups in the client’s clinical record.
• Supervise a manageable caseload, performing case management duties and overseeing utilization review updates as necessary.
• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, ensuring seamless integration of services into the treatment process.
• Engage in collaborative communication with referral sources, including legal entities, schools, and employers, to ensure comprehensive support.
• Facilitate intervention strategies for crisis situations utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach, focusing on client-centered solutions.

Your primary role will involve working with a diverse array of patients experiencing a spectrum of substance use disorders alongside mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds and communities, providing necessary support, empathy, and guidance as they navigate their journeys towards recovery. Expect to work hand-in-hand with clients and their families to foster an environment conducive to healing, engagement, and empowerment.

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field, along with a valid LCSW license.
• Strong professionalism, characterized by resilience, excellent therapeutic boundaries, and cultural competency.
• Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively, balancing multiple caseloads and responsibilities.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in addiction treatment or mental health counseling.
• Experience in co-occurring disorder treatment, emphasizing the integration of mental health and substance use recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with utilizing clinical software tools for documentation and treatment planning.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
