Duties
Help

• You will provide technical leadership and expertise in support of programmatic reviews.
• You will work with program managers and the strategic business team in developing, implementing and managing directorate level strategic planning and portfolio management.
• You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and set priorities.
• You will evaluate the work performance of subordinates and identify developmental and training needs for employees.
• You will develop and ensure implementation of new product support management concepts.

• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Unless specially waived by the appropriate official, you must execute, as a condition of appointment, a written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three (3) years.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and assuring implementation of new product support management concepts, corrective actions and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns in logistics program operations.
