The Stem Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote telehealth team. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in delivering empathetic and specialized mental health care to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while using advanced telehealth technologies to connect with patients. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, enhancing the therapeutic experience for both therapists and clients. You will engage in video sessions, maintain confidentiality, and utilize electronic health record systems to document client progress. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on the holistic recovery and resilience-building for each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing journey.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma and developing effective coping skills.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and support staff to provide integrated care for patients.
• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, equipping patients with immediate coping strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, resilience skills, and community resources available to enhance their recovery.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation that meets all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and continuous learning opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay current on research advancements and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure effective treatment delivery.

Our center is dedicated to serving individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, each bringing their unique narratives and needs to the therapeutic process. By providing comprehensive, compassionate care, you will help clients navigate their trauma and enhance their capacity for healing and resilience.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, preferably within trauma therapy.
• A strong grasp of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach with all clients.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring a calm and supportive environment.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
• A collaborative spirit ready to engage as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that yield positive client outcomes.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the specific considerations involved in remote therapy.
• Evidence of ongoing engagement in continuing education and professional development aligned with trauma care.
