What is a Remote User Interface Tester?

A Remote User Interface (UI) Tester is a professional who evaluates the usability, functionality, and visual design of software interfaces from a remote location. They test websites, mobile apps, or software products to ensure that users can interact with them easily and efficiently. Remote UI Testers identify issues, provide feedback on user experience, and help developers improve the overall quality of digital products. This role typically involves using various testing tools, reporting bugs, and collaborating with development teams, all while working outside of a traditional office setting.

How do Remote User Interface Testers typically collaborate with development teams while working offsite?

Remote User Interface Testers often work closely with developers, designers, and project managers using collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, and video conferencing platforms. They participate in daily stand-ups, provide feedback on UI issues, and log bugs or suggestions through project management systems. Job description

Senior UI Artist

Koin Games is looking for a Senior UI Artist to join the team working on Origins TCG.
The Ideal Candidate

You have exceptional visual taste, move quickly, and care deeply about clarity and polish. You are equally comfortable designing a beautiful interface and opening Unity to make it real.

We're building a fast, stylish, character-driven competitive game inspired by the energy of modern graphic design. Think bold typography, unexpected layouts, layered textures, expressive iconography, and interfaces that feel as memorable as the characters themselves.

You will help define the look and feel of Origins' interface and take UI from concept through final in-game implementation. Strong competency with Unity is required.

This Role Might Be Perfect If...

You find yourself studying the menus in games like FragPunk, Marvel Rivals, Persona 5, or Valorant just to understand why they feel so good.

You believe a great UI doesn't disappear—it becomes part of a game's identity.

Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality UI art and visual design for Origins.
  • Define and maintain the visual language of the game's interface.
  • Implement and iterate on UI directly in Unity.
  • Work closely with Design, UX, Art, and Engineering to improve player experiences.
Requirements
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional game UI art and visual design.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, hierarchy, composition, and color.
  • Extensive experience creating polished UI for games.
  • Strong competency with Unity and production UI implementation.
Interview Overview:Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for this role. Please note that while this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.
