We are actively hiring for a Principal Enterprise Architect - Remote

Your Role: The Principal Enterprise Architect serves as a member of the CTO office or a senior staff within each of the individual business or technology domains within IT. You will play a key role in defining, planning, and realizing the enterprise technology vision aligned with the business and IT strategy. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering business solutions that are appropriate for the corporate, business and technology strategies.

Your Work:
  • Facilitating designs and building solutions across the enterprise, with a focus on evolving our technical capabilities in support of delivering business capabilities. Solutions are built in a highly collaborative environment, partnering with engineering, product, and program leaders.

  • Leads and provides direction to Application Integration, Data, and Platform architecture vision for the enterprise.

  • Works on the most complex projects and contributes to the overall strategic vision of the organization

  • Integrates a broad range of ideas regarding technical and solution architecture, while developing strategies for migration toward the cloud architectural vision.

  • Partners with business leaders to provide expert technical advice and influence strategic decision making

  • Assess industry trends (business and technology) and appropriately position their subject areas.

  • Provides thought leadership, create strategies and make recommendations on a wide variety of complex issues having a significant and strategic impact on processes and the business.

  • Creates, guides, and partners with other architects in creating and maintaining roadmaps that connect business strategies to capabilities and provide a milestone-view of the cadence needed to move from current state to future state.

  • Delivers a clear, pragmatic, approach with applicability to meet immediate business needs

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to learn new information and systems quickly, works successfully in a highly matrixed organization

  • Effectively manage priorities, deliverables and timelines with little need for escalation

  • Demonstrates a strong bias for architecture principles balanced with tactical schedules, cost, and risks

  • Leverage the appropriate mix of in-house and outsourced resources to protect intellectual property.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

  • Technical skills: 15+ years experience with building scalable, multi-tier distributed cloud-native application architectures.

  • Experience designing APIs, integrations with external systems including 3rd parties. Experience with one of the 3 cloud providers - AWS, Azure or GCP.

  • Experience designing systems that has messaging characteristics. Experience designing systems that take advantage of both SQL and NoSQL. databases.

  • Good understanding of front-end UI frameworks like ReactJS. Mobile app development is a strong plus.

  • Experience with designing secure systems using cyber security best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 15+ years Systems development and business experience designing solutions for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization.

  • 5+ years Technical experience in a specific domain for design, development and deployments.

  • Experience in a significant business domain such as CRM, Marketing, Insurance/Claims or Financial systems

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to help interrface with other teams.

The national average salary range for this position is $186,660.00-$207,400.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $186,660.00-$248,750.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay.Colorado Specific Job Range :$186,660.00 - $228,200.00This job posting will be unposted on Fri, 18 Sep 2026.
